Lots of events and fund-raising centering on the Group Workcamps expedition to Youngstown, Ohio late in June of 2011.

SKY Group Activities and Events for 2009-10 We reviewed this list…decisions/discussion points noted in RED: October – December Oct. 18—Children’s Worship Oct. 24—Car Wash Nov. 21—One-Day Youth Event at LTS—YES! Nov. 20-22——NOT GOING due to LTS event Dec. 4-6 –Girl’s Gathering at LTS—Who can go; are there age restrictions? Dec. 13—Progressive Dinner January – March Feb. 12 – Parent’s Night Out— combine this with a lock-in for SKY members only. Feb. 27–Snow Tubing March 6—Snow Tubing— Confirmands at Hartman Center March 19-21—Conference Wide Youth Retreat at Hartman Center—lots of interest in this.
April – May April or May – Youth Sunday/Spaghetti Dinner
June – August June 11-13—Camping at Codorus July 21-25—Mid-Atlantic Regional Youth Event at Lebanon Valley College—need to know more about this before making a definite decision. Date TBD—HersheyPark— fit this in if possible. August--Pool Party |

Back from a week with Group Workcamps!!
Here are some pictures from a spring day (2009) spent fixing handrails and repairing a shed. Lots of valuable skills were learned this day!
The SKY (Sacred Kross Youth) Group has a storied history over the past 25 years or so. There have been camping trips to Codorus State Park and Potter County, excursions to Dorney Park, white water rafting, Group Workcamp to Bridgeton New Jersey, and participation in the clowning ministry of St. Paul's.
